Looking for a first gen (83 and prior) truck in WA

If you've got one for sale I'm looking to find a clean stocker or lightly modded truck. I don't want your beat up or rusted out trail rig, it needs to be street legal and running. I'd like to spend around 3000 tops for a truck to start building.

What kind of condition are you looking for?  I know of one that may be for sale in Bremerton that needs some work.

I need a truck with at very least a good cab and front end ( I can build a flat bed but I'm not really set up for sheet metal work, so rust free and minimal dents is a must), and a rust free (aside from light surface rust) frame. I want a decent engine I.E. at very least rebuildable, not completely fubared.

I know a guy with a 1st Generation that has a decent body and the motor looks to be in decent shape.  It came as part of a house deal and the only problem is that it is missing the rear 3rd member and doesn't have any keys.  Any interest?

I'd rather have something I can drive as soon as I buy it. My experience with cases like that truck is that, no matter how little someone thinks it needs, the more you fix the more problems you find.

I'm postive it is a can-o-worms, that is why I asked what you were looking for.

Yeah, a basket case is NOT what I need, the truck is going to be a daily driver. I will consider 84-85 trucks if they fit waht I'm looking for, which is a decent truck that doesn't require a ton of money and work to be a driver.

Theres two i know about in bonney lake both completly strait and pretty much stock, great paint with like 31's one is $2500 and the other is like $4000 i think its blue and the other one is either tan or grey, i cant remember, it could be niether.
