gettin a bug to go wheelin again and test out the new engine here soon...lookin to go to Gilmer, Tx a BMRA land

yea im thinkin maybe the 18th maybe  email me tomorrow and remind me to get pics of the head,  its dirty and needs to be hot tanked,  i'll try and clean it up and chase the holes with a tap

machine shop should have my motor done by then...need to get them that head so they can port and polish it

Hey Ryan why not wait till the run at Y.O Ranch's 40,000 acre site its like 2 hrs from SA....and by then I should have my truck ready....Im pretty sure my 85 wont be done by the end of FEB

I'd be up for a trip to Gilmer this weekend, I was thinking about going anyway and then I saw this post. I talked to my roommate and he said that he would probably ride with me if it's not raining. Also, another guy we know just finished his jeep, rockwells, 44's, etc, said he was thinking about a test run. Let me know if anyone else is still interested.

i  :sleepy:  :sleepy: at the Y.O. Ranch..it dosent have that good of terrain, its ok, but drive another 30min, plus it $$$ and its nuthing but j**p wankers...Trees Ranch is like 30 min from there on the same road and Donnie the owner is a really nice guy..I will meet u n Gilmer Glen even if swamper is not going to go, i'll drive my scout to wheel/ meet up w/ u and if i have to drag swampers crap so he dosn't have to spend $$ he can help me drop my motor in when it gets finished... http://www.treesranch.homestead.com/. spent a lot of time out there..its is sweet

Everyone, sorry about this weekend but I won't be able to make it, my steering decided it was going to give up on me and not turn left. I pulled everything out and ordered a Redneck Ram hydroassist, now all I have to do is mail everything off to have it setup for it.

just my  :twocents: , but everyone that i know that runs the redneck ram has had problems..seems at the most inoppertune time, like on the trail..the pump is working against the ram, and the ram against the pump..the ratio from them isnt right..the rams that they have have had lots of problems..but not a bad place to get it tapped
