Topic: 6 cyl. spool in a 4cyl. 3rd.?

Easy enough question, I think? Can it be done without any mods to the 3rd or at all.? A friend is going to give me a spool but he has it in a 6cyl. 3rd member and I have a 4cyl. 3rd. Just wondering if I can just swap out my limited-slip for the spool?

That's what I was thinking it's just the bearings that are different.
