Has anybody used these seats in their 4Runner or truck?  The price is good and they are easily available at Advanced Auto Parts.  Not sure about the bolt pattern.  My 85' Runner's front seats are shot.  I was looking for an reletively in-expensive replacement pair that would be an easy install (direct bolt-on).  Any other suggestions?

My buddy has them in his 85 pick up, he likes them but I cant stand them.  I think if you are a smaller than me type of guy you will be ok with them, and they will hold you fairly well.  I am 6'4  270lb and they are way to small for me.  My ass wont fit in them and my shoulders are too wide for the upper supports.
The seat is deep but not wide enough for me, other wise I would say go for it.
Another friend has Beard seats in his ranger, they are super comfortable and i fit in them fairly well, mush better than APC's.

a buddy of mine has a set in his scout800 and he likes em', but i really dont care for them. They reclined and all,  but in a matter of months they faded really bad and the stiching on the sides was unraveling....they also took forever to dry at last years chili challenge when it rained like kats and dogs.....but he runs a bikini top...so it might be better off in a closed cab truck- :twocents:

Thanks for the input.  I found some more threads on pirate and here regarding seats.  There is an abundence on ebay as well.  I think I have come full circle.  The PRP seats look good but more money than I would like to put into something like seats.  I think I may go scrounging around some local junk yards for newer 4runner seats or even honda, acura setups.  Seems to be the most economical way to go.

Mid 80s nissan 300zx seasts fit with minimal mods and can be found at pick n pull pretty cheap.  I put some in my 80 and 2 of the holes lined up, had to make 2 little brackets for the rest to line up.  They're comfy, have an adjustable head rest, air bags in the front and driver seat has side bolster adjustment too.
