Has anybody ever got a big block to fit in a Toyota pickup with a bed mounted radiator?

I have seen a built 350 in an 85 with the radiator mounted to the roll bar. It looked goofy, but it worked.

It might have a thousand miles on it. It's out of a tube chassis Jeep that a local shop owner here has for the "shop rig" . It literaly goes on maybe 2-3 rides a year trailered. I scored good on it, alot cheaper than a new one!

They're selling the Jeep and he sold me that motor and just threw a carb'd 350 in it.

I do need some help loading my tool box and stuff. I also have to pull that cage out of Donna's Jeep and fully weld it since the coilovers attach to it and it will support the weight of the vehicle. I got to get that done so that I can get it rolling to load on a trailer and move.

Just a bunch of stuff that I need 2 people for ya know.

I'll buy you lunch.

Hell ya dude. What time you want me there? You decide on a time and I am there. Also, do you want me to bring a trailer or do you just mainly need the extra hands? I look forward to helping out with anything. Can't wait to see this cage fully welded up!

Just get there whenever you feel like it. I'll prolly drag in around 8. Bring your trailer and straps if you got 'em. Then we can use my trailer for the Jeep and yours for the other crap.

You seen the pics of the Jeep? It's coming along nicely, probably be ready for paint shortly!

Dude, it was an awesome day for me. That cage was gnarly and I enjoyed everything. A lot of cool tips on fabrication too! Let me know in the future when things are going on and I'll totally be there. Also, let me know when that Runner needs a new home.

Thanks for letting me hang today Jason. Wish I could see Donna's face when she gets home!

IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

IS IT IN YET???????????????????????????????????????? :nerv:  :nerv:  :nerv:  :nerv:  :nerv:  :nerv:

Not quite. I'm in the process of moving out of one shop now and building another. Just can't stand paying rent any more....

Finger is healing nicely. Everytime I look at it, it reminds me of the battle beast I helped winch up the trailer!

So, was Donna happy with that freshly fabricated steel in her garage?
