Specs are marlin sas and 5" spring kit front and rear, 2" body lift, welded 5:29 in rear, open front, duals soon, square front d-line, new 38x12 tsls on stock toyota alloys.  Its gonna be one big truck.  The whole front is done and we would be done with the rear but marlin shorted him 4 spring bushings and bolts.  We drove it around with just the front done yesterday on 31" ats and it drove good.  It will be all done by tonight cuz he has to drive it to work

is that rear axle going to get a new spring perch or shims? it appears the oinion angle is horrible, and it will only get worse once power is applied to it

Rig is looking pretty sweet.  Definatley want to see how them 38's fit.

It may detour me from running 36's.

Looking pretty sweet guys.  Dontcha wish you had a full chassis jig so you could rotate it on it's side to do the welding?

the pinion angle at ride hight is much better.  Those pictures were taken at full droop.  He is going to cut and turn the axle when he goes duals soon and has to get a new shaft and remove center bearing

79coyotefrg

yea  i have to do that myself  i just got duals

So you didn't make the snow run either Huh

IronClad

sheesh.. i wouldnt even bother  messing with the pinion angle.. its fine.  that looks like full droop right?  im sure at ride height is fine.. and when power is applied the pinion comes UP so it will be fine..  dont listen to Dr 2wd.  he has way to much to learn

RHG

Thanks Iron Clad. Yup, when you romp on the skinny pedal the pinion trys to climb the ring grear making the pinion go up. Thats why drag racers and run their pinion angle around -2* so when they are going down the track they have the "perfect angle" I will load pics from my digicam in a minute and try to downsize them. I got the truck driving tonight and the 38's on it. There will deff need to be some cutting of sheetmetal after the springs settle and I get to flexing that perty suspension.I have a few more lil things to take care of to get it 100% complete. And when I say complete I mean the suspension kit. There are sooo many other things that will be done to the truck down the road

Well the lil 22re putt putt motor turns them 38's w/ 5.29'd pretty good. I had been running 33's and 4.10's for a while so I really dont notice any difference. Maybe the slightest because of the extra weight. I am going to have to do some sheetmetal trimming to stuff them 38's though. I am going to order a twin stick then as soon as its here I will build my dual cases. I need to get the cases in so I can get a proper driveline for the rear. Need rid of that center bearing crap! Right now I am riding around with not much length left on my slip yoke. If I got flexin I might pull my rear apart. No good. Be patient. I tried to email my pics to Brad but no workie workie. Maybe too many attachments at once or something. I'll try again.
