what do u think i should do when i do the rear springs up front whiteman do u think i should use the 54" f150 rears or the 62 inch chevies? i want to chop the frame off short right behind the spring hangers so shouldnt i go with the f150s???
looking for a 80-85 not built toyota pickup in tenn, nc, sc, virginia can anyone help????

I have never ran either of them but for my truck I have narrowed it down to the F-150's or Bronco II/Ranger rears for the rear of my truck,  The only reason I do not want to run the Chevy's is because they are so long, I am just going to avoid them for now.

I actually should be getting the Bronco II springs tomorrow, if I get them I will try and mock them up to get a rough Idea on how they will sit so watch my thread in the project build up section.   Honestly i think the Chevy springs will flex better but you have to have a long ass shackle to compensate for the compression of that long spring.  You can also go for some 52" Chevy springs , but I am not sure what trucks those came in or how well they work.

What ever I run in the rear I will most likely add two or three cut leafs into the pack.

ok boys time to start this thrend back up.  i got more ????'s. if i am going to do a marlin hy-steer will i have to get a new steering box?? will it have to be a ifs box?? also how much should i expect to pay for one

if you going crossover then you will need an ifs steering box i got mine at a junk yard for 60 bucks i wouldent pay more than what marlin sells them for

because the stock steering box moves the draglink front to back and a ifs box moves the draglink passenger side and dirvers side and thats how the hysteer is set up

ahh gotcha ok another question? when i put the rears up front will i just use the stock front hanger or will i have to put one on the flat part of the frame in the front?? if i have to move it could yall give me some ideas of how to make one. thanks
