My problem is that I live in Canada. I hope to come down to Cali sometime, but right now... I don't have the time or money to do so. Around here there are many stolen Toy's, but not a whole lot in the junkyard because they disapear as fast as they hit the yards around here. :(

I will check around here after I get my 37's and my new fenders on. Right now I have a Detriot EZ in the back, so that will get me by for now. If I found a E-Locker for the front then I would have to go out and buy another set of V6 gears too

I work At
All Pro Off Road

bruiz05

this first time that i did it i took my time to make sure every thing was perfect, so if this is you first time i recomend taking your time and doing it right. this way you will have no leaks and you will never have to take it appart agian.  All in all its really not that hard, i did my brothers for him and i did my front, it really only takes about 2hours of work to be done right if you know what your doing.  If you have any questions feel free to ask, i dont mind helping.

here is the correct way to wire you e-locker, if you cant see it try copying it and save in your "my pictures" file and you can zoom in on it, this is all based off of useing 6-16 trailer wire.

Yes it is.  Where are you from Bruiz?

That diagram of how to wire that E locker is WAY cool!!!  I have one ...  my buddy is installing my 4:88 gears at the moment, I am dreading wiring that that locker.  It's just not one of my favorite things to do.  The diagram will help.

THANKS A MILLION!!!!!

yeah i thought that it looked familure, i have spend lots of time up there at browns camp.  one of my favorite places to wheel.  I am from newberg, right now i am in sacramento for school, should be done at the end of march.  My back yard here is the rubicon fordice and prarie city, but i still miss browns camp, i will be putting a trip togather to go up once i get back into town if you want to come.

The wiring on that elocker is really simple if you follow that diagram to the "T".  It took  me like 4 hours taking my time to wire in both of mine.  One thing that i did differant is eliminate the resistor i felt that i did not need it so out it went.  Make sure you get your timing right on the worn gear on the motor and slide shaft and you will never have any problems.  if you have any questions feel free to ask.

I have not been up there since Sept of last year.  As I understand it, the Forest Servive has closed off most all the trails up there for this winter due to expected erosion and trail deterioration.  If I were to guess, I would say they won't open them up till early summer.

Anyway:  I will follow the wiring diagram to the letter, thanks for the offer to help.  My Wife and I have a baby coming in early June so I don't know if I will get to do much wheeling at TSF this year.  Our little group though does have a run scheduled for mid May at Naches (funny rocks) in WA.
