They are the most driven mud tire of choice here in the south. They last  about 10k less than the mastercraft mt and the dayton mt. They pull pretty good in mud as long as they keep spinning. once they stop, you are stuck. They cake over quick unless you have low gears or high HP. I like them on the trails but not at the mud flats.  For the money (arounbd here) you can get one size smaller BFG mts. If you want a cheap MT tire go with the mastercraft Courser MT. I got 50k on/offroad out of them on a 98z71. They pull really well and are relitivly cheap. at about $162/per in 35x12.50; whereas the maxxis is about 175 for the 35x12.5

Im an OG

I loved them on the trail & they kick ass in the snow. I could air them down to 4lb & not lose a bead on the aluminum rims. They are lumpy as hell on the road & wear fast though.

Are you talkin about the new buckshots or the old ones?  I went lookin online for good old buckshot mudders, and happened upon the maxxis ones and they looked way different.

The old ones are what I ran. Didn't know there was a new design.

well i ordered the buckshots and just got here today...i would have gotten the mastercraft courser's but there is not a dealer anywhere near me and i got a pretty good deal on the buckshots, $510 for 4.
Ill post up what i think of them when i get a chance to see how they are.
