I believe the same person created both sites, not that we need to go down that road again. Lets just say someone here complained up and down the block when Allpro grabbed one of MC's images, now it is ok for that same person to take and use MC's pictures on his product line.

You might want to change the date of the Hammers trip to 2006.

So what would you rather have Marlin spend money on, camera equipment, or the innovation of new product?

I would rather have him do what he does best; New products!!!

Im moving all photos from trips to the new picture gallery. It makes it easier to upload, saves space, and is easier to manage. Thanks for the info on the page, I will check it out.

So I add some stuff to my basket and I continue shopping.  Now I am done shopping and want to checkout.  How do I checkout without adding a new item to my basket?

Just curious, but have internet sales gone up or down since the site change?  Is this being tracked?  I have learned from experience that the simplest design is the best design, especially when it comes to a business website.  People want easy navigation with product front and center.

I am not trying to bag on your design, I just think it really takes away from the product selling point which is what the site is for.  People may think the dark colors look cool but in web design it can really hurt a sales based website.

I have to say I agree with most of the comments about navigation others have made.  While I didn't love the look of the old website, I have to say I really liked how easy it was to find the products I was looking for.  I think that one thing that needs to be remembered is, this product is used by a business to sell things!!  So finding those things to sell should be very easy, and in a way, almost forced.  The old website was great, cause you came to the site and bam, its like, here are the things we sell, and we even have nice pretty pictures to show you what they are.  Now I thought all those pictures on the homepage were a little over the top, but with this site, its hard to find anything.
I mean, imagine your new to wheelin, and someone goes, hey go to www.marlincrawler.com they have all this great stuff.  What do you expect when you get there.  I'd expect pictures of products, and descriptions explaining why I need them, and I would be a fool to buy them anywhere else. A quick bit of text showing how well marlin stands behind its customer, links/pictures of your most popular products.
Also, personally, when I come to the site, I want to see what new products marlin crawler has to offer.  I would love for the 3 or 4 most recent products marlin has developed to be listed somewhere, and if there are things in the works, I'd love that to be somewhere I don't have to dig through the forums.

Finally, I think dark websites are fine.  Its nice to not have to stare into a giant white light bulb to read little tiny bits of black text.

Two Items  :psss:

(1) New Item - I just noted that crawl ratio calculator works, but the two speed calculators do not.

Also, the two links at the bottom for "How do I determine what ratios I have?" & "Table of most common Toyota Crawl Ratios" go back to the old website.

(2) Old Item - The last time I purchased online the confirmation checkout page was from the old website.  This may have been correctly already, but I can't afford any more parts to find out.

I'm curious if there's a possibility of having a "want it later" tab next to the "add to cart" so you can keep track of items you want to order later?  Those of you with good memories may not need it but I do!  I've seen it on other sites but can't remember which ones.

Been trying to work on the site on my spare time, but there is no spare time, so we decided to have me come in a few days a week and work with the group at Marlins, this way everybody there has some input. Thanks for being patient, you will see many new changes and improvements really soon.

The website isn't working properly with Firefox.  I can only go as far down as apparel before the drop down menu disappears.  It seems to work fine with IE.
