I've never seen a set mass produced.  I bet http://metaltech4x4.com/homesframeset.htm or http://www.wickedfabrication.com/ could do the job for you.

yeah - I could go the expensive 1 off route locally, just wanting to know if someone knows of a place producing them or someone who wants to sell a pair.

I thought of that and it would be the final option. BUT, the pins and hinges would likely be in the wrong spot and the latch setup would need to be riggged.

Aqualu makes some nice aluminum half doors...

I made my own half-doors from a set of stock doors that were in a fire and beyond restoration as complete doors.  I cut them down to the profile I wanted and welded a top plate on.  A paint job to match my 40 finished the task and I run them whenever the weather permits.

I am looking for tube doors, not a half door. though, I see some people conisder these 'safari' doors to be 1/2 doors - I have always known them to be tube doors. make sense?

you got any fab buddies?  You could drive around an industrial area, check out any of the fab shops for some semi built rigs.  Get someone who is interested in wheelin that can fab, and they might be able to make you some.
