good product, and i think ted's a great guy when it comes to service.

i haven't had a single problem with the timing guides myself -- just make sure to request the set with the steel driver's side rail instead of the "normal" plastic one -- much more trouble-free, and won't break and let your chain eat a hole in the timing cover.

I've got that in my truck, plastic guilds even.  No problems using his stuff.  Good customer service.  Cheapest I could find at the time.

EBC stuff is top quality w/o the price. Done 5 motors with thier stuff.

So good in fact we use it in the race motors. Sure, you can spend lots more, but most of the time you are paying for a name. We run the 22r's at 5k all day and beat the snot out of them. At last tear down (overheated due to a radiator failure) the bearings / rings / t-chain /cam looked & measured like new.

As for the guide spend afew more $ and get the steel guide from them as well. Only thing I get from LC is the adjsutable gear, the rest is from EBC

i've found that these engines like a mild cam better than some of the radical stuff, being that they take a while to really wind up.  i love the 268C grind that's in mine, compliments everything nicely on my engine and really rips.
