yeah, and TURBO has NO heater!!!! He has no interior, but he does have a huge hole cut out in the floor when he put his triple cases in, so you can see the entire transmission and transfercases, so a bunch of nice warm air comes up from there when he is driving. But yeah, when he stops, he freezes! But as Hyena knows, TURBO was all bundled up in his army camo clothes and paint ball mask, and he said that he felt super warm

Well I am tired of this "i don't know about that" and "no traction" and "I need to learn this clutch" talk.

i'm glad you are so happy to beat a truck that's not EVEN FINNISHED!!!
stock USED (over-broke-in if i may say so) rear spring packs front and rear, NO SHOCKS!!!, no axle rap controll what-so-ever, and i may have a total of 15 hrs driveing the truck total at the maxx, and at least half that was on the trail going less than 20 mph,so i have no idea how it handles...... mike has what? a year of driving that truck everyday? Yes my truck rolls, stears, has breaks, and can compleet little 'ol bald mountain trail.......... but it is FAR from being road worthy, let alone finnished, so theese "test runs" I've ben makeing are just a sample of what lies ahead for you mikey boy......

ps. for the record, how much does your truck weigh?
i weighed mine with a full tank and it was 3180 lbs.
                                        my weight    + 180 lbs.

Why is your truck so heavy? Angelo is saying that his 3rd gen truck weighs 3100 with 37s, full bed, full interior, lots of bondo, front and rear bumpers, sliders, and a full bed baja-style roll bar cage, and a winch too.

So I am thinking that my truck MUST be under 3000 lbs. You dont have an interior nor a bed. Your flat bed has gotta be lighter than a bed. Plus no shocks. Your additional battery is the same as 4 shocks with mounts maybe, maybe not...

I need to find a certified scale and get my truck weighed.


Well, you know what is REALLY FUNNY TO ME is that we are arguing over who has more power and who has the faster truck, right? AND I DONT HAVE ANY BOOST YET!!!!!!!!! HAHAHA I dont think the 2.7 l stroker kit will be enough once I put on my SC14 blower and get some boost in my 3RZ! haha sucka!

i'd say we're pretty close even with all the veriables, if my truck was road worthy enough that i could trust it, i could do better than what i do right now.... i'm just glad to have a truck that can almost beat a bigger motor

What do you mean, why can you keep up with a 2.4? You can walk all over a 22R-E non-turbo.

I wonder what would happen if you put your boost to ZERO psi and I added 6.5 psi to my 2.7

What does any of this matter? If you get your truck there, wheel, and get home without breaking anything, what does it matter how fast you get there? Does that power really count when on the trail? My 4.3 does great on the 4 lane, on the trail, and anywhere Ive taken it so far. My rig is quiet, comfortable, and warm in the snow. I enjoy driving it to the trail and home. I even enjoy cranking up the tunes while on the trail. So if you have to add boost to your engine to race up a hill, I have a friend with a Dodge pickup with a diesel engine that can smoke all you guys up the hill pulling his Land Cruiser on a trailer. It doesnt really matter does it?

actualy i'm just very curious as to how the specs compare to real life aplications, and how difrent factors can throw the whole equation outa wack it's very intresting.

Someday, TURBO will yield to the massive power that the 2.7 makes. Someday, he will learn that there is not a 'R' engine in the world that can compare to the 2.7 ha ha ha ha ha

         this is due to our r&p ratios, i wanna switch gears and tires, ibet we'd have the same results just opposite
