I had the same damn problem, i swapped my whole throttle body off of my spare motor and BAM!! no more high revving...... i had to do a lot of research on that because it was driving me absolutely nutz!!! Mine would also rev up to 2000 (after it was warm) when i applied the brakes, and then drop to about 600, then creep up to 2000 and do the same thing over and over as long as the brakes where applied... go to a junk yard and pull off a throttle body or order one up up from lc engineering thats bored out a little, alittle more air flow never hurt anybody!!!!
