well i have tried everything i can think of,nothing has worked,im at the end now.getting ready to sell my truck and give up on the idea,thats how pissed i am with this shirt!!!

Hey Toynizzy, i have been having similar problems and I was just wondering if you ever came to any conclusions. I have a massive list of things to check so im going to get cracking at that. Just curious if you ever figured it out. take care

I had the same damn problem, i swapped my whole throttle body off of my spare motor and BAM!! no more high revving...... i had to do a lot of research on that because it was driving me absolutely nutz!!! Mine would also rev up to 2000 (after it was warm) when i applied the brakes, and then drop to about 600, then creep up to 2000 and do the same thing over and over as long as the brakes where applied... go to a junk yard and pull off a throttle body or order one up up from lc engineering thats bored out a little, alittle more air flow never hurt anybody!!!!

Alright thanks for the advice, im going to try the aformentioned items listed in this thread first but if those dont work out, new throttle body it is.

Well it seems like it was a lot simpler than i thought it would be, i got fed up with it the other day and checked all my vacuum lines and messed with the idle. set it lower by about 200 rpms down to about 1000 and it stopped doing the fluctuating idle with the brakes applied. seems to like the new idle speed a lot better.

Weird!!sometimes you look too hard for the problem and it ends up being so simple that you want to just kick your own ass!!
