22R-E Fuel pressure ???

hey Crawlers :greengrin:

we plane now the engine swap from 18R to 22RE on the Green Can Project
and i have 2 diffrent Informations for the Fuel pressure
from the Fuel-Pump :-\\   :confused:

Fuel pressure: 265–304 kPa
(2.7–3.1 kgf/cm2, 38–44 psi)


or

Fuel pressure: 226–265 kPa
(2.3–2.6 kgf/cm2, 33–37 psi)


which information is correct ???  ???

1989 is also 38-44psi this is with the engine off.  Meaning no vacuum to the pressure regulator therefore max fuel pressure.  With the engine running and vacuum to the regulator, the spec is 33-37 psi.

BTW, make sure you use a good quality pump, preferebly factory or a factory reman.  Some pumps are physically smaller in size and will have to work harder to keep up with the larger factory size.
