Barb wire and chainlink on the Rubicon?

How close of a reality is it?? Way too close for anyones comfort.

I just returned from a 3 hour meeting with the FS.  :yawn: Many Land Use heavywieghts were there. CORVA, AMA, Cal4Wheel, Blue Ribbon, United 4 wheel.

I have to say it is gloomy at best.  :down: We SO need you to do something to help out here.  :bowdown: Please, please, please just follow the links here and make a comment. Address it to the forest supervisor of the El Dorado NF. There are 2800 miles of inventoried roads on the El Dorado. That could go down to 1800 real soon.

FOURTEEN of the 721 miles of non-system roads are being considered to be added to the system.  :angry:

A 6 month seasonal closure of all dirt roads is still a near reality. November 1st to May 1st. :yikes:

This is the most restrictive policy being considered in Region 5 and possibly in the entire USDA Forest Service.  :censored:
