Since I got the new computer and figured out how to resize pics I figured it's time to post some up.  And yea, that's a custom stick jammed next to the headlight, you can't just buy em like that.

I bought it as a parts truck and haven't got around to parting it out, figured it'd just be easier to try and sell whole.  Plus it's at a friends house and that always makes tearin em down harder.  I have a couple others that to me are a better starting point, ie the first pic or my rolled 4runner.

uuummm......nice threadjack?? :dunno:

I think he missunderstood, that this is just pics of your rigs.  I do it a lot to  :ha_ha: .  I see you have go your bike cleaned up since you laid it over a few months back.   Is your bike a 929 or 600?

kneedownnate

It's the 600  , wish I had a 929 or 954 for the track.  That pic is actually the day after I went down.  It's pretty fuzzy but if you look close you can see a yellow spot on the tail where it rubbed through, and the slider is ground down pretty good.  I'm still very slowly workin on it now, gotta go up to work today and grab some stuff and am gonna grab some glazing putty if I remember so I can get crackalakin.

And wideopen, you can copy the stick but don't you dare steal my idea for the .22 cal speed holes in the tailgate, that's mine!

You should make that two wheeled thing a desert truck, or what some people call a pre-runner.  I am doing that right now with my 91 2wd.  Weld the rearend and do some sick drifts and catch some air.

RHG

.22 cal speed holes in the tailgate eh? Sounds like some fun fabbing those up. Might be even funner with some

Bought it that way, guy bought it off a lot then his brother borrowed it a year later and did this for him.  I'm either gonna use the efi for a conversion, part it out or see if I can get it runnin and make a project out of it.  I have a couple of ideas in mind....

81rockertoy, that's a matter of opinion, and this is my thread so the only opinion that matters is mine :therethere:  :nana: , and whiteman, it's 22re.  Maybe I need to post up more bike pics..........

Hell Yea!  I could talk bikes 24/7.  If 81rockertoy don't like it he can beat it :booya:.

Now where were we before we were so rudely interupted?
Oh Yes, do you have a EFI computer you would like to part with between the 2wd or the runner?  I have a 2wd 22re but some doosh foe jacked the computer.  :wall:

kneedownnate

Why certainly, I have the one I kept when I parted out an 86 efi 4by.  How's $30 plus shipping, probably about $5 or so?  Hit me up if you want it.  Pm me the vin# and I'll see if I can have the computer part # double checked to make sure they're compatable.

A little more bike stuff, pulled off the clutch cover on my project bike expecting full well to find some dirt, but not this!  There was probably about a full cup between the side and the oil pan.  Looks like most of it stayed in the bottom, the pickup screen had some on it but wasn't bad.  I didn't feel any up inside the pickup to the pump, and I pulled off the oil filter so I could take it to work tomorrow to cut open and see what it looks like inside.  Keepin my fingers crossed it's gonna be a runner cause it would either make a cool project or pay for another altogether.

That sucks :ack:  But it should be OK if it died right when you packed it full of road rash. :disturbed:   :crossed:

kneedownnate

Na, he said it was runnin on it's side for 30-60 seconds till he ran over and shut it off.  The pan cleaned up real nice today in the tank, but I'm almost at a stopping point already cause the honda shop has no parts, so it looks like I'll be buyin some stuff online and waitin for it to show up.

The computers in the 86 trucks are different than the 91.  I already tried to put an 86 in and it had three plug-in ports when the 91 only had two.

How did that happen!!! :yikes:       Looks like an RC51 with the rad's on the sides.

kneedownnate

Guy was ridin home, goin through a corner and out runs grampa raccoon....pegs it with his front tire and goes down.  I wish it were an rc51, but it's a vfr800.  I'm not complainin, but I could have a lot more fun and be more comfortable on an rc.  Either way I'm not out cause I got it so cheap.  Coincidentally my friend is gonna be pickin up a new rc51 next week.  Hopefully I have my f4i done by then.

:nerv:    Oooo!  Thats a scary feelin when somthing runs out in front of you on a bike.  How fast was he going?

I came up over the top of a hill one time probley doing 70mph, four lane hwy, and as a crested the hill there was a deer in the road that had already been killed.  I swerved from the outside lane to the inside, just missing the body of the deer and ran over one of it's legs.   :smack:   I thought for sure I was gonna eat Sh*t.

Needless to say I moved it out of the way, :rockingout: and sped away

kneedownnate

Dunno how fast he was goin.  I think he was in second or third gear cruisin, but that doesn't mean much since most bikes will do any Cali speed limit in second gear.  I and many friends have come so close to hitting animals on rides, most with a kamikaze lifestyle, but never actually hit them.
