Shocks for DD truck
« on: Oct 21, 2005, 10:04:31 AM »
I'm asking for a friend.  He's got a 1990 x-tra cab 22RE truck with 200K on the clock.  He's still on OEM shocks and they are dead.  He's looking to upgrade to something he can still use as a DD and some mild off-road use to get to the fishing holes in NC.  He's looking to spend $30-$40 a corner.  I've mentioned Rancho, Pro-Comp's, and Bilsteins.  Don't the TRD Tacoma's come stock with Bilsteins?

Thanks for the reply.  Where would be the best place to order a set of shocks?

not sure how the site here feels for 4wp.... but they pretty much suck.... their guys know almost nothing and they always get the wrong part... i have bought stuff from them, but only when i knew the exact part number.....

that said, they are the main supplier for pro-comps... i actually got pro-comp es3000 for the erar of my truck from summit racing... they are a lot better than the worn out shocks i had on my truck
