my new project
« on: Oct 20, 2005, 10:05:23 AM »
i got this truck for 300$, all it had was a blown head gasket because the guy that had it before didnt torque it right. it is stock and sits on 33"s, i have some big plans for it. dual cases 5.29s 35"s lift it and throw an exo-cage on it and some bumpers. but first i need to get rid of the nasty roll bar in back

i got the head pulled of and the gasket was blown, had the head checked out by the local machine and they said it was within specs. pulled the front cover and pretty much everything else off the block to check it over an prep for re-build, and i ripped the nasty cage and tank off the back as well as the reciver hitch that was welded to the end of the frame. i post some pics soon, let me know what you guys think and if you have any suggestions.

no i just pulled it of and let it sit there, the guy that had it said that he swore by it and would leave it on, but i think that it would just get in the way

i got the truck painted and the engine running, it sounds good and strong. i just need some brake lines and minor stuff so i can get it road worthy.
