marlin front spring owners?

I need to order rear marlin springs and need to decide 4" or 5".  Could anyone give me their front measurement from their axle to bottom of the frame and what springs you have (4 or 5").  I just need to match up mine front (home brew) to the rear.  Thanks Jase
