Bilstein Shocks...

I'm needing to get some shocks for my 4Runner, and I am thinking of going with the Bilstein 5150 or 5125 shocks, also thinking about the Skyjacker platinum and also possibly the Rancho 9000's. What ones do you think are the best? I just need some input thats all, I wanna know what all of your guys' opinions are...

I have the Rancho 9000's. I don't think I would buy them again.

I really don't like the way they work. The ride on road is rough also. I have had 2 warrantied due to bad seals & have broken the adjusting knob off of 2 more on rocks. If you go with the Bilstiens do a little research on Pirate BBS, there have been problems with a certain model as I recall.

I had 9's and they were a vast improvement over the 5's, but my Bilstein 5100's are way better.

Thats what I have heard, I am pretty sure I am going to get the bilstein shocks...

I'm currently running bilsteins on the back of my rig and Rs9000 `s on the front. i would strongly recommend the bilsteins over anything else i have tryed so far. i have had the same problem with breaking the adjustment valve off them.

Bils are good
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

What the heck are those fenders supposed to be on?  That fit is horrible!  I have the rancho rs9000s in the rear and love em.  I use the second lowest setting for the road and they ride nice and soft, and if I'm gonna haul something I jump up to 4 or 5 and they work great.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha...they are my ode to the jeep cherokee.  6-inch bulge fenders.

Cause they are different!  I still have some trimming to do, they give great coverage, no one elses truck looks like mine.
