Damn, sorry to hear about the breakage Kyle. The couple of pics that you did get came out pretty sick though  ...I know that feeling bro.I owned my Jeep for almost ten years and when I went 1 tons, stretched wheelbase,42s and an Atlas,it seemed like it broke almost every time out.I had 1 good year with a few Hammers runs, the Rubicon,Moab and a few local places with no breakage, then it seemed like every trip that followed that year it came back with major breakage, that's when I decided to start over...Hopefully it wont get you down and you can get everything squared away and hopefully I'll see you out at the Hammers  :beerchug:

it does get me down. its weird, sometimes i think i should have just kept the single case and toyota stuff. when i had that crap i was never breaking. rougher ride, of course! did it cost me after every trip i went out, never! i know once i get the rear case all sorted out its going to go right back to the axle shafts again. i plan on just breaking stubs until i can get the longfields one day.

what did you end up with for frame height/axle clearance?

i just measured the frame/ground. my driveways a little weird and theres only like 8 psi in the tires but it measured to 26 1/4". ill try and get a picture of that output in a few.

i think you stressed that output shaft at the hammers for sure.

i agree, that broke wayyy to easy. hey what gears are in your diffs?

well holy :pokinit:. i just got back from the doctor and got my eye dremeled out. last week when i was working on my truck some grinding wheel/metal combination shot up under my eye glasses. it happened wednesday or thursday and i was in such a rush to get the truck done i never went to the doctor. i went into the bathroom and used some toilet paper and got one big peice out. the other peice was in there pretty good but didnt hurt. every now and then id get a sharp pain but just for a second or so. well i went to the round-up and came back. the doctor said i was lucky cause usually after 48hrs it can get really bad/infected. he numbed it and got it out with a cue tip. i thought i was done and then hes like not so fast, i have to dremel out the rust. now i can see this weird divit in my eye and its a little sensitive. i hate going to the doctor/hospital for stuff in my eye. this is the 4th time now.

i agree, that broke wayyy to easy. hey what gears are in your diffs?

i put yukon 5.38's in mine.  that is a little lower then i had before with the 5.29's so it should help on the stress. but i have blown a few rear ring and pinions and an axle so i bet my output is almost done.
