what should i do about the driveline if i were to get the dual ultimat crawler setup , i have heard that i can use one from a short box toyota :dunno:
86' yota, extra cab, duals, HP frnt with detroit 4.88s, V6 rear with detroit 4.88s, bobby super set, driveline tech dl's, neat lil upgrades on the way can someone say 4link and dovetail front...

you can prob use one from a 4runner or short box, but with the added torqu and strain of such low gears, and off road use, it would be a better idea to have a driveline made with a thicker wall tubing, toyotas only have 32nd wall tubing stock, only slighly thicker than sheetmetal, so spend the extra few bucks for some peace of mind, i can slam the crap out of my d-lines and know that ill be able to get home with no vibes or damage!! :beerchug:

a guy in auburn cali, and it was about 200 from start to finish, everything brand new

For the price of U-joints and metal, about 50 bucks per shaft. You can run 1/4 inch square drive shafts front and rear and never worry about it. Then leaving the trail, slap on your highway shaft that takes less abuse and no vibration.
