very specific dual case question
« on: Oct 01, 2005, 10:23:14 AM »
AA kit (got it on sale for CHEAP  )

got a t-case from an 84 EFI, 85 reg cab carb forward shift, then and 83 top shift

What one do I use where for the best set up????  I figure the 83 donates the top shift to one of the others but after that my brain gets fried :dunno:

for ease of install use the two top shift cases. My setup is 83 Top shift and 85 top shift.
You win some, you lose some.

ok, there are different gears in these things, like quiet run and noisy and some are stronger then others, or so I heard.

that really is the question behind the 83, 84, and 85 and allthat stuff

if your tranny needs the forward shift then you HAVE to use the forward shift for the crawler boc and always a topshift for the rear case,  i suggest the 83 for the rear

why do you need to use the foward shift at all just plug the hole in the tranny and move on?
