i was just wondering why Interco has a 37x14.00x15 Irok That comes out to be shorter than their 36x13.50x15 Irok. Is it a new size or something...

also why arent more people running the 37

no the 37x 14.00 Irok is a bias ply tire, and the 36 in Irok measures 36.8 and the 37 measures 36.5 and it costs 10 bucks more per tire.  So why havent i ever seen anyone running the 37 Irok but tons of people run the 36s

right,,but the 1st 37's that came out were radial,,the  37 bias has only been out a short time..I was thinking 12.00 for some reason.. :smack:

why would you run a 37 if its smaller then a 36???and I have seen them on rigs,,just not as popular as the 36,,maybe cause of its hight..

its almost the same height as the 36 and its wider too, wouldnt you want more width??

depends on the the use..on rocks width can be key,,however on a lighter vehicle and a wider tire can loose contact pressure.

such as in the mud a light rig and a wide tire wont do as well os the same rig with a skinny tire..A wide tire can flat but not get bite to the ground v;s a skinny tire would get more bite to do more contact pressure..one would think a wider tire would do better but if pressure can't be applied to the tire to bite traction is lost..It really depends on the rig and terrian the rig mostly sees..Its a catch 22 in most cases for rigs that run all types or terrain v;s rigs that run mostly dry rock or areas where traction is more then plenty..
