Are those flowmasters on a stock 22r or 22re? What other exhaust components are you guys running. What exact flowmaster muffler is that. Sounds great! Nice vids by the way.

It's a 3 chamber flowmaster ( not sure what series ). Both are stock 22re's with no catalytic converter and 2" exhaust ,and stock toyota exhaust manifold. I have the same muffler on my '83 with 2 1/4" exhaust and a header. It's quit a bit louder but it still sounds good.

Thats awesome! Thanks you so much. I really like the sound of your rigs. Do you think that its louder because of the 2.25" pipe or the header? I was thinking about doing 2.25" pipe on mine but I don't want to be super loud. Thanks again

Looks to me that the truck in the first vid didnt have his tires aired down enough. What tires were those anyways. Very nice. Im about to put either a flow or a turbo muffler on my truck. That pos little stock thing is hideous and sounds like...well damnit thats the problem, I cant hear it.

Well i was run 6psi ....I had sx's on the front and they won't hardly squat unless you run lower than 6psi.....that was low enough for the boggers tho they done purty good at 6 with 8 inch wheels

those tires he was running are R85 buckshot mudders

yeah I was trying to see what they were. They dont look like they worked very well. The SX's had no problem, also the steady pressure on the skinny works too.

AIR DOWN!!   :rofl2:

I was running 8psi. They do look like they had too much air in that video , but they worked great. I was hung up against the bank on the drivers side. My wrap around rear bumper got hung on a stump. Once I got past that it done fine. Also that was the first run in my '89. I've got some problems with the suspenion I've got to work out. I had those same tires on my old truck (the one in the 2nd video) and they are excellent tires. For some reason my '89 is just not hooking up like it should.  :headscratch:

The red truck has exactly the same exhaust as the other 2 trucks. Stock manifold , wore out 22re , and a flowmaster. The sound of his exhaust might somewhat be affected by the large amount of 20w-50 Castrol being expelled through his muffler  :rofl2: That motor has a ton of miles on it , but it just won't die

Bluetoy i don't believe a drop of oil has ever come out of the tail pipe. You must be new to the whole riding thng because the weight or kind of oil makes no diffrence in the sound.
Oh and one more thing........Don't get mad cause my truck goes!!!Later

red90runner

and nobody knows the exact muffler they have on any of these trucks? Is there any way you can ask these guys. I am really interested. Thanks alot for all the help.

He must have got under there and looked . Its kinda odd cause we all have same exhaust setup , yet each one sounds totally diffrent. I guess  :dunno:
