Every worthy Zuk has Toyota running gear.. so for the most part Marlin carries nearly everything you'd need for a lil Sami!  :joke:

Thats just way to much. Marlin does a great job at offereing gears for a reasonable price. Everyone wants to sell gears for their value in gold.

I am a zuker and am glad to hear your interest in our rigs.  I buy a lot of your toy stuff b/c... well- it's the best.

I too bought Trail Toughs 6.4:1 gearset last week but MIGHT be partially trading for a really nice yota.  in this case I'll be ordering the dual case adapter next week

btw- love the forum.  Im a newbie again
I'm going yota JUST so I can buy from Marlin more.

there's supposed to be one hitting the market soon ;)

as for products to bring to the market ... a good toy axle swap kit using your drop hanger and shackle mounts would make a killing, but a lot of the east coast zuk owners have an aversion to shackle reverse ::)

a high-steer kit with the right length drag link would be nice.

i wouldn't even try to get into the 22r/e swap realm ... too heavy and again, a good 4.3 swap kit supposedly will be hitting the market in the near future. if there was a way to adapt the toy crawl box in between the stock zuk tranny and t-case, that would be the way to go (eliminating the divorce setup).

another idea would be using toy springs for suspension swap instead of yj springs. the offset pins of the toy springs would be nice to increase the admittedly short wheelbase of the zuk ... just keep in mind, anything over about 3" extension in the rear requires the gas tank to be relocated.

I say a 22RE swap kit is a good idea, having just done this swap it really would not take to many parts and the power is really nice.

A Toyota Axle swap kit would be awsome, that's a big thing in the zuki world, like going to D60's basically.  Roll cages, rock sliders and tube doors would be cool too, especially the tube doors.  I think it would be good to have some of the more unique items listed there rather than just having all the run of the mill items that everybody has.  Twin stick would be cool too. :)

Man, I cant get away from this guy..... :thpst:  Nice Toy Jason, I seen it on NC4x4.

Some engine swap kits that arent the 1.6, 1.9TD and the 4.3, I have considered the 22RE and the Ford 4.0 OHV, just cant decide.  I have a while because it will take money and I just cant seem to find any, anyone have some they can give to me?

I like the idea of a toy swap kit, but everyone that does it does it differently.  I am going to use coils and stretch mine a little bit, so that would have to be a special order and custom kit.

If toyota diesel engines wernt so rare that would be a awesome swap.

But yea maybe a Toyota leaf SPOA for running toy axles.
Toyota to samurai steering, or toy power steering conversions with the toy highsteer kit all as one.

good thoughts but any samurai that's seriously crawling is running yota's or beefier soooooooo the TOY hi steer kit works perfectly as is.  and the IFS box is super easy to throw on there.  for $200 more you can make your own hydro assist.  :twocents:

Marlin should sell the SOS RingR..............it allows you to bolt either a 4 cyl. or a "turbo" tranny to a 1.6L Suzuki engine or to a 1.3L with the addition of the SOS Lucky 13........$49 retail!

Marlin contact me if your interested.............I'll put a few on your shelf with NO money up front...........pay when you sell...............Kerry

PS Thanks for the updated parts for the ToyBox.........works great!
A Marlin Dual Case in a Suzuki is a wonderful thing made possible by SOS RingeR!!

I'm going to put Toy axles under my Sami -

I will be buying Marlin hi-steer arms.
think the only products I'd really like to see would be crawler gears and driveshaft adapters. I'm not big on buying stuff, but some stuff you have to.

U-bolt eliminator kit:

I've noticed that the pivot that people are putting between their springs and axle perch eliminates the u-bolt, how about a kit that comes with or without the pivot that eliminates the u-bolt? For one thing it would eliminate the the u-bolt that sometimes crushes the axle tube when over tightened when you do an SPOA in fact Marlin should come up with an SPOA with the u-bolt eliminator that would be sweeeet.

This u-bolt eliminator could also be applied to Toyota's instead of doing the u-bolt mount flip.

A real clutch would be nice.  The Sami clutch is worthless and the only one who sells a good Sami clutch is Petroworks.  I wouldn't spend a dime at Petroworks anymore.

A twin stick for the Sami case would be nice too but there may be legal issues with that (i.e. patent infringement?)
Sami on 35's w/VW 1.9 turbo diesel, W56, dual cases and twin stick, 5.29's, ARB's, YJ's, s/r, etc.

the people who are modding trackers/sidekicks need more high range reduction. so for thoughts a kit that would bolt a sammy t-case into a sidekick frame OR a set of gears that reduces the high range (like the sammy does). also anything that mates toyota parts into anything suzuki!

I have a friend who built his own twin sticked samurai.  granted it could use some refinement but functions perfectly
