im doing a sas soon, my question is, can i run the rotors and calipers off of my ifs 4cyl on the 85 front axle? or do i need to go to an fj 4o rotor, my rotors are brand new, so if at all possible, i would like to reuse them. thanks

no just click on marlin store and it gives you a detailed how to and parts listing .It's under the sas hangers section.

thanks bud, just wondering if any one has used standard ifs rotors on a sas

Yea you can use the ifs rotors but you'll lose a bit of braking force due to the ifs rotors being 1/2" smaller OD vs solid axle rotors or fj-40.

In order to use the ifs rotors you'd need to use the ifs hubs and a custom spacer to move the rotor in a bit to line up with the caliper.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

and where do i aquire said spacer??

sky has the spacer its like $200. i used 90 crusier rotors and the solid axle hubs and ifs calipers.with a 11/2 wheel spacer

Sheesh at that price you can just go with new brakes :screwy:

You know JC Whitney sells vented and drilled rotors for 69 bux a piece I think maybe I should just do that instead of change calipers and MC.
85 pickup jacked up but needs more money thrown at it
