Well my bro has a 2005 Yamaha FZ6 hes trying to sell. He figured he wanted a car since he will be putting fullwidths under his Jeep this winter and having a streetbike in the rain isnt much fun. He bought it off the showroom floor in Yamaha of Chico back in April (I believe)

Anyway its a 600cc bike
Has 2200 miles
has a tank protector on it
stock tires
had Yamaha of Chico go through it and change oil and adjust/tighten everything For a 600 mile tune up.
has a 2yr extended warranty (wich goes off of the 1 year(I think) Manufacture warranty)
Comes with a cover that was never taken out of box
Well taken care of. Was washed and waxed every week.
When it wasnt riden, it sat in the garage, not outside
Its licensed thru May of 06
Its blue

Thats about all I can think of about it.

He wants $6900 OBO

The bike is located in Chico, CA. Its about 1.5  hrs north of sac. Any questions? Call him at 530-591-7632. His name is Steven.

NOTE: This is not his bike, this is a picture from the manufacture.

Riding in the rain isn't fun?!  Man, don't say it till you've done it, it's a blast.  You'd be surprised how fast you can still go.

This bike has a detuned R6 engine I believe, which just basically means they changed the power band from mostly top end to more low end and mid range so it's more fun and usable for normal riders.  As far as a standard/sport style bike these are supposed to be a kick to ride, and are great for the guy who kinda wants a sportbike but doesn't want to bend over so far.  It'll also be more comfy for longer rides.
RIP KYOTA

Exactly! Nate thanks for the explanation. It is SO MUCH MORE comfy to ride then his friends R6. He can stay right along the side of his buddy that has an R6 on it too. And yes, he says that his bike is a total blast to ride. Going up Highway 32 to 36 to get to Lake Almanor, he can haul :moon: up there...All around its a good bike!

That's what I'm here for sir.  It's funny to me that more people don't buy naked or half faired bikes, cause they're usually way cheaper and can be ridden nearly as hard, which means 99.9% of street riders still can't use them to their potential.  I think it's mostly a vanity thing though, plus chicks dig a crotch rocket and that's a big reason why a lot of people buy em.  Three of my favorites are Honda superhawk(newer version), Honda 919 and Suzuki sv650.  For what I do my bikes suit me pretty well though.

BUMPITY BUMP BUMP

Hey sorry to Hijack, but Nate, I will be riding in the rain and I am not looking forward to it really.. I've never done it, but I hear the rain drops hurt like hell and also people cant see you with their windshields full of water and their wipers going. Also I will have to avoid the paint on the roads, right? (the white and yellow lines must be slick when wet)

Sorry bigmike, didn't check this for a few days.  Yea, pretty much steer clear of paint and seam sealer always, but more so in the rain.  Raindrops don't hurt if you have a good bike jacket, you can pick one up for a decent price off ebay.  Just go to a local shop, try some on and see what fits nice and hit ebay.  Mine's not waterproof, but I've ridden in the wet and it took a lot to come through.  It's harder for drivers to see you, but I ride in traffic with the highbeams on, and usually people are a little more cautious in the rain anyway.  For the most part I don't ride much different, just don't usually try and slide if it's wet.  You'd be surprised how quickly you can still take off when it's wet, still beat most cars off the line without slipping a tire if you have good throttle control.  I totally look forward to some rain riding, even have some official rain race tires, but you can't run em on dry pavement cause they'll essentially melt pretty quickly.  I'm really hoping to have my other street bike put together by this winter, I won't mind riding it in the rain much.

And I don't think lilbuddy will mind the threadjack, it gives him a free bump

Okay this may sound like a hijack here, but I will say that I hope lilbuddy sells this and it looks like a good product, but what is it when I see bikes riding down the road flashing their headlight? Is it to get your attention or what?

Are you sure they are flashing, or is it their bikes bumping on the road? My bike's headlights dance up and down at night when I am riding on a normal flat road. Its just the bumps, and maybe that looks like I am flashing because my lights are going into your mirror?

Thanks for the Info Nate, you da man

Yes, some bikes lights flash to help draw your attention and it is legal in some places, though I really have only seen it on cruisers and goldwing types.

And bigmike, what kinda bike did you end up gettin????
