Here is a response from AOR on a 3RZ to R151 bellhousing:

" We did build one for our Toyota 7s Racer, but we really haven't thought
much about offering them for sale. We have about 500.00 invested in this
one bellhousing, which includes us having it shipped in from a yard in CA,
and the time we had to pay for our local machine shop building it. The cost
would go down if we had a few orders for this part at one time."


I asked them to also consider building one for the 7M to R151.

Well someone else beat me to the punch today. 

I received the same response and sent them another message proposing a query on this forum (without mentioning their name in case the forum owner considered such action unethical) to see how much interest there'd be in having AOR make up some for sale.

AOR hasn't responded to my question yet. Anyways I asked them how many orders would they require and what did they think the unit price would be? Hopefully the more interest (orders) the lower the price. I proposed feeding them forum responses (quantity of interest) and then PM each responder with the POC at AOR - if they agreed the feedback warranted AOR moving forward with the project. Each responder then could contact AOR with his/her order and deposit - if one is required. I made it plain to AOR each responder would be responsible for initiating a specific order for a bellhousing. I would not act as their sales agent, just help ascertain the level of interest/need for the bellhousing.

So, I guess just go ahead and submit (here) your interest in the project. I'll post their reply to my proposal when it's received.
