As long as the bumpstops wont allow the springs to go negative your fine.  Anything more than that and you'll be fine.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

also does it really matter how much the upward flex is, it all matters how much the flex downward go's,i mean the earlier the bumpstops contact eachother the faster and more the flex downward will be right? thanks for the info. jeff

In a perfect world a suspension is well balanced if it can hit a 40% compression 60% droop IMO.  Im at about 30/70 but Im working on improving that.  If you have basically no uptravel and all droop you will end up with one unstable SOB.  Trust me Ive done it. :gap:  I almost flopped on a simple onstacle soley du to the suspension causing the rear to do all the flexing and making the rig lean severly.

Yup that'd be alright depending on how the springs are set up.

Bumpstop gaps of 3-4 inchs work very well with our front springs. We find that rear bumpstops are just not needed.

so your saying that my 4 inch gap with your 4 inch springs and 12'' bilsteins would be perfect, with your bumpstops installed and they have about a 2 1/2 to 3 inch?

At 2.5" you might be sloosing a slight bit of compression travel, 3" is a little better.
