Fun with the high-lift...flex test!
« on: Aug 07, 2005, 11:35:55 AM »
Kids, don't try this at home...only trained professionals and idiots.  What do you do when you don't have a lift or a fork lift to test your flex with?  Hmmm.  Try this?
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

Last one...BFE shackles do a nice job of keeping the springs from twisting.

I was actually fairly stable...I went real slow, I didn't want to kill anything.

I am a happy man, I fixed my driveshaft rubbing problem with some creative sawzall work and took her for a ride.  I am happy to report that the BFE shackles are unnoticable on the road, and the horrendous body roll at low speeds is reduced by about half above 10 MPH.  She rides nice and other than a few interesting little cleanup things I have to do next weekend when the parts get here, I am ready to RIDE!  Only thing I need to add are some tow points...temp kind until I do the bumpers...

Any suggestions?
