NGKs are great wires, but i'm running taylor 8mm wires since they're a little beefier and have less resistance.  i think i paid $28 from summit.

$50 on a set of factory wires??  That is a steal!  I run only the factory wires, as they fit correctly, last for a bajillion million miles, and carry more than enough spark for a 22r.  They also come with all the fancy seperators and hangers.  Last time I bought a set they cost me $75.

On a related note, also spring for the toyota cap and rotor.  They aren't that expensive, and you know they will be right.  Remember, the gap from the rotor to the cap is just that, a gap.  It has to be factored in to the equation.  To sloppy and now you have too much spark gap.  Too tight and the rotor will contact the cap.

You probably wouldn't want these then.  Capacitive discharge spark 300 times more powerful than stock, limited lifetime warrenty, more efficient combustion, increase in horsepower and torque, lowers emissions...good stuff.  Thanks BigMike can't wait to get them installed.

No, I wouldn't.
I don't have a CD ignition system to use them with and they're total overkill for a 22R w/165K on it.
