 :shake: Crossed Up :shakehead: said they would love to do it for $5,300 little too much, for me and i would like to drink some beer and be able to help... any suggestions would be great!!! thanks in advance. :thumbs:

Talk with Erich or Toyman over on Wheelingarizona. They have both done a SAS. :thumbs:  I helped a little (very little :greengrin: ) with Ryan's (Toyman) SAS. Oh yeah, Bertha has too.  He might be able to do the whole thing. Not sure what he would charge . But I'd bet it ain't no where near 5300!!

You supply the parts and I'll do it for $1500.  You gotta drive it to Albuquerque tho...

I've done 3, and they're not too bad.  It all depends on what parts you're using.  I prefer to install "kits" where everything is designed to work together, but custom jobs work too.  You oughta be able to find someone in Az to do it for cheap.  Check with the local 4x4 clubs and get involved and make some friends.  Thats the quickest way to find someone with the tools and the time to help you out.  Besides, then you'll have people to wheel with when your rig is built.   :beerchug:

yeah, REK thats what im looking to do i work on base and used to wheel all the local spots all the time but here on base people come and go so its time to make some new friends, and wheelin buddies, i would like to find someone locally to help me out but thanks for the offer! :rockingout:

what do you do over on DM? I am statoned at Travis. One of my tech school buddys is an electrician on c-130s over there. I am going to try and use the hobby shop on base to do my SAS.

i work in the bomb dumb where we build' em and control the movements. we cant weld in our bays its 2 seperate bays, but i guess i could start it out in the welding bay and finish it there also, what do you do at Travis?
