you can't really swap a v-6 into 4cyl unless you change to a r151f bellhoushing-----then you have the chain drive v-6 t-case to deal with

BTW it should be a w-56

Just thought I'd help ya out there
That's how I roll

this is 2wd stuff !no t- case-you can use a v-6 tranny where a 4 cylinder was --duh the bell housings are different - you could use it 4 wd with the mini truck adapter for the tcase if u change the out put shaft shaft inside the tranny or is it the main shaft -six one way half dozen the other -the turbo 4 cylinder t case i believe bolts right up after you change the shaft- I'm only selling the transmissions that are out of some 2wd  trucks I'm parting out and yes they have to have parts put in them if u want to make them 4wd
i never said that they were 4wd -  oh by the way the vin number identifies the 4cylinder as a w 55 (2wd) w 56 is 4wd
the v- 6 trans is a r150 also according to the Vin number and Toyota --if u look at the Vin sticker in the drivers door jamb of the 89-95 trucks it says what tranny is in them  at least what came in it from the factory

BTW i have converted the 2wd transmissions to 4wd in the past and had no problem parts is parts-the 2wd bell housings are not as beefy but the transmission parts inside are mostly the same except 4 the components that make them 2wd or 2wd (different hosing at the rear of trans so that u can shift transfer case-any way I'm selling these trannys as cores (parts)but hey were in running trucks and worked fine -
i would not let them go otherwise but i need  the money I'm not working now getting back surgery very soon ) any way thanks for the help

btw the v- 6 transfer cases are lower geared than the mini truck stock cases(mini truck t-cases come stock at 2.28 the v-6 comes with a 2.46 i believe but u should check the books or ask marlin) there's nuthin wrong with the v-6 transfer cases except u cant change the ratio due to the chain drive and lack of optional sprocket sizes--)
