hey my grandpa gave me this (he's moving) it used to be conected to a 60' antana that has talked from fresno to bald mt./ dinky creek area many a time

Haha, my grandpa pulled out all his old CB stuff.

He had a damn amp for the base station the size of a small toolbox. He has a map with markings of how far he's talked to people, they were literally completely across the country. He claims he's got Alaska from here in Pennsylvania, it's not unbelievable considering CB's have gone 10,000 miles before.
