just a quick question,i was planning to use my rear springs up front(chevys in the rear),they have been re set,im guessing about 6"-7" above standard?would these be ok up front,or should i buy some after market rear lifted springs, which im guessing would be a fraction longer than the standard ones, thanks.

i put my rears up front. i added a lifted leaf into the pack. i think that i got about 3" plus another 2" from my shackle. the cool thing is the rears move your axle forward about 3". i had to flat fender to not rub

was it a standard pack?or had they been reset?

He used a standard stock pack and added a leaf from a set of rear lift springs.  Your best bet would be to go ahead and do the swap with the springs as they are, then check the height, spring rate when you have it all done.  If you need a bit more extra rate to support the engine you could add one of the leaves from your front pack to stiffen it up.
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

the swapped set had a rear lift spring in them. rear packs pins aren't centered so it moves your axle forward automatically

yep. mega problems. i had to sent mine to tom woods to get lengthened, i still slipped out of it. so tom woods refunded me and sent it off to high angle drivelines for me. jesse at high angle is installing a 12 slip for me so it should be good after that. it'll be back in the next couple days
