Ok, what's the friggin trick to make a Toyota power steering pump stop leaking out the durn (<--- absolutely Alabama :hahaha: ) cap?!?!?!? What do I have to buy? A new cap? Reservoir? O ring???  If I put a thicker o ring under there will that do the trick? This thing is killin' my friggin alternators!!!

it is hooked up to a cooler isnt it??     aint had any troubles with that but maybe a thicker gasket would do the trick

It's got a small Trans cooler on it, it's full hydro now but it was doing it before. The cap just doesn't feel tight when I put it on there.... I got a Zuk with Toy steering on it and it does the same thing, that's  why I was wondering if it was a common problem. I'll try the thicker gasket...

Man I've just been trying to get this shop off the ground and finish Medic school (8 more months!!!! :circle: ) Imma try to get over here more and kick it with my Yota lovin' peeps!

I'm working on putting a 22re in my Zuk right now also (like I need another project!  :hammer: ) I'm gonna use the 2wd tranny and my GRS2 case. I can't wait!

I would say start with a replcement o-ring. Probably cost you 50 cents or less.   If you put a thicker one on there it might tear or get cut when you put the cap on, then it would still leak.

You had me at first because I am used to the resevoir being on the fender.  I was trying to figure out how it was ruining your alternator.  You are running an integrated unit though.

Yeah, the power steering pump is directly above the alt. on the 5M...

I'll try that, Thanks for the help!
