Hey I was wondering how 36x13.50 BIAS IROK's do agains't 35x12.50 BFG MT's in the mud?
I don't mind my BFG's but I would like more traction.

I personally think that the IROK is a awesome tire! I would think they'll leave a M/T behind in performance. Now streetability...... BFG all the way.

I would agree,,the irocks walk over the bfg mud in almost everything except pavement..Hard to beat a radial tire on the road..
Forgiveness is between them and god..
Its my job to arrange the meeting!

well the trails are about 15-20 miles away so won't be on the road a whole hella lot.

I love my IROKS. I have always ran SX's, this is the first set of IROKS I've owned. Seeing them in action made me a believer. Although I'm not to pleased with the tread depth/ how fast they wear out aspect.

They both have sissy sidewalls that will puncture and rip but the irok does great offroad compared to the bfgarbage.  If you'r only driving 15-20 miles to the trail go for it just get a lifetime warranty so your not out the cost of a tire when it rips. ;)
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Wait so the bias ply ones rip side walls too?
I am lookomg at the bias ply I did notice they both have 6 ply side walls.

The radials basically fall apart and the bias stay together longer but they both have thin sidewalls.  I only know 1 guy that hasn't had to warranty an irok yet if that tells you anything.

you want mud performance, go Q78 TSL.  it's a pizza cutter(like 35x11.50) but it has some of the deepest, most agressive lugs of any TSL.  right up there with boggers in mud performance, just easier on your toy engine.

I will never run any thing but an IROK!!!!!!!!   They grab rocks like no other tire I've run before, and I've had Boggers, MTR's, TSL's, BFG's.  I've yet to cut a side wall. Hell the spare has never seem the road!!.  I run them at 0 psi too!!!!  BAD ASS tire ( except on pavement :( ).
I don't need a winch, I wheel a TOYOTA!!!!!!!

Iv been running Radial iroks for a year now. One thing to notice is the very soft rubber (reason they are so good on rocks) and that means they dont last very long. Its been a year and they are about 60% tread but i DD them eveywhere, no chunking. Iv heard the bias just get torn up, unlike the radials. Iv yet to tear a sidewall.
