3.0l diesel engines 4 conversion will bolt up 2 your trans

ok that is all well and good but what about the basic first. i need an engine; diesel. and recommendations? after that i can put turdo on it.

series A and B   3.3   to fir in truck low weight to power ratio.

my major concern is that the Hp  (85) is low but the torque in foot pounds (215) is high at  1600 rpm.
you really need more torque than horse power to turn trans right??
