bolt pattern?

taking 22re out of 86 runner with auto tranny, and putting it  in my 85 with a manual, i was sure the the motor would bolt up to the manual , but a few people told  me it wont, if i could get a definite answer from someone here would be cool, thanx

It will bolt up..

Just use the bellhousing from the 85 and it should all slide right together.

   The bellhousing from the 85 5-spd probably won't bolt to the 86 automatic, and vice-versa, but as long as you are just using the motor from the 86 you are golden.  Oh yeah, flywheel from the 85 too, obviously.

yeah im just swappin motors, so ill do bellhousings too, and probably clutch and seals and all that good stuff
