I am going to put the Marlin Kit on front and rear of my 91 pickup and was wondering if 37s will fit with some mild fender trimming. Maybe a few extra inches on the shackle? Oh I am also going to put a 1" body lift on. Whatcha think?

I have the 4-inch front on mine, and I am pretty positive that with a little more fender massaging I can move up to 37's when I wear through my 35X14.5 Boggers, which clear without an issue.

I love your new avatar mr24x42u! Yeah, I dont want to hack it but some trimming is fine. If need be ill tub the firewall. Would it help if I put a longer shackle than what comes with the kit? Or would that just hurt my shackle angle? Sorry if these questions sounds dumb im a first timer.

I would try it with what you got first..Possibly look into a fender well tub if needed..but about the only thing you can do is get it all set up and stuff the tires and see what happens..seems like every rig is different so just try it..

My front axle is 1.5" forward & 37's would definately rub when stuffed & wheels turned. You will probably have to tub the fenderwell if you have a fair amount of uptravel. Mine is a 90 4-runner.

i got marlin 4" on my truck. i think i built a 2" maybe 1" drop hanger and 6" eye to eye shackles. i have a 1st gen but can garentee a 37" tire would ft without issue. it has 36" tsl right now with room to go bigger. o the axle is moved forward 2"

Skinny you have a 1st gen.  They have huge fenderwell openings compared to 3rd gen. ;)
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Skinny_Pedal

yeah but i think my junk has to much lift and put that combo on a 3rd gen, it would be perfect for 37's.

Why you want him to use that combo if it is too much lift as you say? The 3rd generation floor is further forward than yours. Tires tend to rub on the fender well on these trucks.

little high for a 1st gen is what i was refering to. but then again many might say your truck is to tall and it seems to work :dunno:

It is too tall, the 2" body lift needs to come out.

And the firewall needs to be tubbed, the inner fenderwells need to be clearanced and the rear wheelwells need to be tubbed a LOT.  But otherwise yea its kinda tall....
