On a runner Id go ahead and use the chevies.  They work great on a heavy runner and using a 5-6" long rear shackle you'll be fine.  Id flush mount the spring hanger into the frame so its not such an anchor.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Hmmm I hate chevies on a truck.  For the most part they dont work worth crap unless you have some weight on them.  Id use Caddy's.  They are a great spring and they take some serious abuse.  Ill find the post that list's the other cars that use the same springs.  Caddy springs are really rare but they came on more than just caddies. ;)

if flex is not a big deal use a add a leaf..or add a few more toyota leafs to the current pack..
Forgiveness is between them and god..
Its my job to arrange the meeting!
