Quick injector question

are 84 to 84 fuel injectors interchangable? yea i know 3/4 of you guys will swear that fuel injection didt start untill 85 on pickups but you are wrong.. i own one now and no it was not added.. its stock efi. BUT neways, i need to know if the injectors are interchangable. when i give the truck gas it totally cuts out and stalls... had a cracked hose over one of the injectors and it got showered pretty good with water want to change it and see if it works. timing is set perfect so tahts not the problem. thanks

I would guess so since they are both 84's

woops.. supposed to be 85

k heres whats going on now... it will run fine now but from a complete stop if you just punch it the motor almost completely cuts out then goes to normal hi rpms... checked and double checked timing... its all fine...
