well we just got back from the con with some minor breakage no big deal. Some roll overs. other trucks in the way when i was trying to go through gatekeeper so that turned into a mess.We got it on film and pics.Well some how i managed to rip my orbital off my frame well the tab that was welded on the frame fatigued and broke so a simple ratchet strap for a fix. Rolled twice down walker almost forward the second time.I straight up walked the box with no issues at all never touched the clutch.Well only onec thats cause i wanted to take a harder line so i backed up and did that but no probs..Brad made it had a hell of a time at the begging but he did well.I'll try to get pics :driving:

Well hey guys.jusy got back from fordyce with some exspensive breakage like transfercase which was the splines stripped and caused the front driveshaft to fly off at like 40 mph that was scary.i was like 2 minutes from my trailer on the pavement so gear oil was flooding the road and i put a small crack in my t case. and the only break on the trail was a 3/4 heim joint on my steering.

wow you must wheel really hard because I haven't heard of someone blowing that much stuff up under their rig with the running gear your using.  Your only running the 4 cyl. right?  Anyhow I just have to say I love your rig.

Hyena

Yep, he is running the 22re, not much power, but just enough to break stuff.  The heim broke from fatige(sp?) of hard wheeling.  It wasn't even in a bad spot when it broke.

Hopefully by the end of the year I will have a SA under my truck and then I can go play. Gunna have to wait for the snow to melt then, ah hell Ill go play in that too. Hey there isnt much body left to that blue truck why dont you guys do a buggy build up?

They hate to see a Japanese import truck own them. Not only are Toyotas extremely easy to build, you get to piss off all the fools that think they own the world because they have a fullsize and gigantic tires.

I have a tiny truck with gigantic tires.

Holey :pokinit:, this thread is old.  But gotta update it.  He sold the tires., sold the dual cases.  Was gonna put the 350 in it.  is now thinking about sticking with the 22re.  Still has the axles.  He put a new cab on it that had been sitting at his house for awhile.  he bought a welder so he is working on cleaning up the frame.  And he somewhat broke his ankle again, peg from his dirtbike went through his leg and he has a lot of roadrash.  But his truck is actually getting somewhere.  I don't know what tires he wants to buy right now.

gotrocks

well i hope we see some pictures soon, I was wondering what happened to the truck

WoW i havent been on this thread in days geez. while im at home id post some pictures but the camera has dead batteries so ill work on it.but warning  aintmuch left of it its just a cab frame axles and some crappy 28" tires on split lock 16" rims their sweet. Im now in debt up to my ears cause i bought the welder but oh boy its nice cant wait to actually get down there and weld again. my planes for the truck are simple im just going to get the thing going again. So its looking like dual marlins with 40's probaly iroks and a exo. but thats what im thinking now im sure i'll get more ideas.

what we got done sunday and monday.  built some rock sliders from 2x4 .188 wall.  plated the frame were they mount with 1/4 and 1/8 inch pieces.  got the motor back in.  And chris cut off the old hydrolic steering mount on the axle so he can remount it better.

Hyena

Nope, blue just like the last cab so it matches his Dodge.

gotrocks

oh man I can't wait until you guys get that thing up and running again.  I really dig those sliders, they turned out very clean.
