I am going to get my 3.0 rebuilt in my 4runner and figured I should get the cylinders overbored at the same time. Has anyone had experience with overboring their cylinders in a Toyota 3.0 v6? How much does it cost and where is a good place to get it done? Any info would be great.

Are you refering to a standard 20 or 40 over or are you looking for a maximum bore?

also remember you will get more power out of the engine from head improvements over bore..bore only does as mush good as the head lets in or out x amount of air and fuel through..so just bore is not always the awnser..

I'll probably go maximum bore. I will be getting ported and polished performance heads from D.O.A. Do you guys know where I can find a rebuild kit (other than D.O.A.) that comes with pistons/rings/crank  made for an overbored 3.0? Also how much?
