well i tell you this.
i won't get another schneider cam.  it made more power but it went flat after two years(approx. 40,000 mi.)  i just ordered one from LC engineering.  they claim theirs won't do it.
I'll look at the cam card if you want.  the schneider i ran was a 260-270.  and the LC is a 270.  LC is good about recommending a cam for your particular application.  the snieder that i ran did make good power.  with a subtle lop at the light and it passed smog with no problems.  the guys at LC said it sould be the same or better.  I'll let you know when i get it if you want.  maybe I'll get the dig cam out and write a tech post on the swaparoo.

rockers are toast.  ordered new ones.  Should be in Wednesday.  it's gonna be a while longer.

i hate when my rig isn't drivable.

i had to change my head a while ago and while i had it off i put new aluminum rockers on.  i got them from NWOR.  well they sucked :moon:

three adjusters broke after the start up.  i took off the valve cover to re-torqwue the head after starting it up and they were laying in the head.

so i changed all of them with OEM.  then after about 500 miles they rockers wore into the the cam.  so i'm out rockers, cam and another head gasket.

and now NWOR is sounding like they don't want to warranty it.  the guy on the phone was trying to tell me that i didn't adjust the valves right.  i told him i have been working on these motors for over ten years and i have been adjusting valves for almost 20 years.(motorcycles)  and that i used cam lube and did everything properly.  if they don't pay for this i don't know what i'm going to do.  i guess just boycott them and bad mouth them. :b_s:

You boys sure yap alot, must not have enough friends.  Come out to Panamint Valley and I will buy both ya a cold beer.  But back to cams, go with DOA's cam.  I'm running one of Tim's secret one's (meanin, he can't remember which one?).  It makes lots of low end torque and I still haven't maxed its power potential, lets just say I can pass V-6's up Sherwin Grade.
Not just another ROck KRAwler.
Ever been to Dry Bone Falls.
