Right on, I miss the good ol days of throwin back a few...hmm, it always ended up being a few too many. I cant do to much of that for another couple months till i hit 21 cause im in the military now and if I get busted with an underage or drunk in public id be sittin in front of the comander explainin myself befor i got rid of the hang over.

The military is pretty cool

I hated it all through boot camp and tech school because its all just a bunch of :bull crap: . But when i got to my unit and into the "real" air force. I love it. Everyone is

cool and its very lax. everybody goes by first names and stuff like that. You dont really get told what to do as long as you your smart and make sure you look busy all the time.

My supervisor is awsome and he really works hard to make things easy for me.

Well its very simple, you pay taxes and I sit on the computer.

J/k Actually I am a electrician on the KC-10 airplane and I work night shift. 12am to 8am. When there is a broke plane ill go out and work on it then come back inside. I have been studying for my training upgrade and i sit and study. It gets really old fast though so I surf the marlin board to stay awake. I bust my ass so my supervisor doesnt mind giving me some "f-off time" I just passed my test today for my 5 level upgrade and monday i start another training program. I dont mind though. They're paying me to go to school so ill take all the training i can get.

no my boyfriend does he has a 82 toyota pickup, my friend that was driving me has a 81, my brother useally goes with me also he has a 92 (i think) sas 4runner.

Well everyone lives in "tent city" if you get deployed to the desert but I havnt been sent anywhere yet. I am in the AirForce so I do stuff a lot different than the Army. I live in a normal house like a normal person.

I havnt been sent out anywhere yet but I cant wait because our planes go to Hawaii, Japan, Alaska, and Diego Garcia a lot. I have to wait another couple months before they let me go on any trips because I need to get all my training out of the way. Im lookin forward to it though. There is a guy one here, snakeeyes, he is Army and has been over to the desert. I feel for those guys cause they live out of a tent and duffel bag for months at a time.

Camping is hella fun!!! I'd live in a tent if that's what I had to do to survive, it's better than bein out in the jungle with barely a bedroll with the bugs and no cot nor tent...... I love sleepin in tents!! My record was like 2 mos in a tent lol.... $Beer Chug\'n$

Haha, well thats why your not in the military. Its for some but not all. If I had to go to tent city then fine ill go but my chances are slim cause I work on a multi million dollar aircraft. Where the plane goes I go. They arnt going to get that plane close enough. Trust me its not that bad where I am. Who else would pay you to learn how to fix a

airplane. I dunno who.

Yeah, ac tents! When I was in Texas for boot camp we stayed in some tents that had a/c and they actually worked pretty damn good. It would get chilly at night in the tent.

Hell at NTC when I was out at FT Irwin CA I slept on a pallet in a bag.
It was fun to wake up to see a taranchula crawling by your face.
The desert is fun all kinds of critters scorpions, rattlers, spiders.
FT Polk was fun back when I was in 5th ID we went to the feild a couple times too no AC in our tents
Good Ole Louisiana 90 degrees 90 percent humidity MOP Level 4 chem suits on the glory days of chem training....
Korea was fun too when we did goto the feild all it did was rain when we were out there and it was quite muddy.
Those days seem like yesterday hard to believe I have been outa the army since 1997.

I am glad I didnt go Army. The MOPP gear sucks! Full charcoal suit and mask.

Gotta drink like 2-3 canteens an hour. We are in the process of an exorcise for an upcoming ORI and we had to go mopp 3 while working on an airplane. I hope we never get deployed to a dirty area where you got to wear that get up.
