I just started it this morning, I also just bought the truck 2 weeks ago.

It is only the front spring hangers, but its a start... maybe take a little while to get it together since it is my DD.

Let me know what you think, I still have to gusset it a little and get a set of springs. I am looking at a set from the back of a Isuzu Trooper, they seem to have a good arc, but let me know what you think... maybe some suggestions on springs.

Yea, I think I am going to put two 1/4" gussets on each side. Right now I'm not sure it the hangers are low enough.

1.5" to 2" drop is usually the norm, search Pirate on the rears up front faq, a couple of guys run trooper leaves mixed with toy rears

I started to build my front axle, its mechanical tubing I think... 2.75"x3.25", so that makes it a 1/4" wall. And I have a set of chromo birf eliminators.

Let me know what you think.

Yea, They weren't to bad... I bought them used, but not used. A guy bought them and then stopped his project, so I bought them off of him.
They say they are good for lots of horsepower and 38" tires... I only have a stock 3.0L with 36" tires, I don't think I'll break them, at least I hope not. If I do happen to break them then I will go with long's because I've heard lots of good things about them.
